Are you a Commercial HVAC Technician that is tired of the day to day routine of local work? Do you have a passion for travel and love being on the road? The NexRev Installation Technician will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting Building Management Systems involving HVAC Controls, VFDs, and working on commercial RTUs.

Deployments are 3 weeks on the road and then one week back home. Our technicians typically work 10 hour days, 6 days a week and have Sundays off. NexRev provides a company vehicle and per diem.

NexRev provides classroom and on-the-job training that will make you more valuable in today's job market. Applicants with verified HVAC, or Controls experience will go to the top of the list.

Duties:
• Install Automatic Temperature Control Systems
• Test and verify system readings ensuring optimal system operation.
• Performs system checkout and assist in system startup.
• Completes and submits electronic reports covering all aspects of each assignment and activity.
• Provides technical support and training when applicable.


Mandatory Requirements - Education & Experience:
• High school diploma (or GED) or Trade School diploma - required
• Must have a VALID Driver's License with no DUI within the past 5 years
• Minimum of 5 years as a Commercial HVAC Technician
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams
• Proficient with operating a laptop and/PC
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check

Preferred Experience:
• Experience installing VFDs
• Strong controls background with any Building Management System

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The Controls Installation Technician will spend majority of the time within the mechanical and electrical rooms, and may encounter hazardous or confined spaces. This job requires frequent:
• Drilling
• Bending
• Stooping
• Squatting
• Climbing ladders
• Kneeling
• Pushing / Pulling
• Standing for long periods of time
• Reaching
• Carrying / Lifting
• Will experience temperature variations
